About The Class
Students in 7th grade social studies classes across the state of Kentucky study Ancient Civilizations from the beginnings of human societies to Europe in 1500. The following is a brief overview of topics which will be covered this year:

About Me
Educational Background
I started at Bluegrass Middle School in 2007. I taught Arts & Humanities and Band. I have taught 7th grade Social Studies Since 2008.
I attended The University of Louisville for my bachelor's degree in History and my master's degree in Education. I was a music Major for 2.5 years and then switched to History. I was a member and Section Leader in the University of Louisville Marching Band
Personal Information
I have been married to my wonderful wife Eileen for 4 1/2 years. I have a son named Connor, who was born on my birthday. I have my 2nd son Liam due in May. I was born in Fort Walton Beach Florida, then lived in Dayton Ohio, Albuquerque New Mexico, Woodbridge England, Florida again, and Garrett KY. (My father was in the Air Force.)
Hobbies/Interests
I love music. When I have time, I like to play the Guitar, French Horn, Trumpet, Piano, and whatever I can get my hands on. I enjoy most sports but college football is my favorite! I'm a die-hard UofL fan. GOOOO CARDS
