Bluegrass Middle School is currently getting committees together for the 2010-2011 school years. Our SBDM group has a policy to announce openings for serving on these committees. If you would like to volunteer for one of these, please respond by email and or call the school to notify us with point of contact - Wendy Boeglen. As a reminder all volunteers must have a completed volunteer form with a criminal background check on file with Hardin county Schools. Forms are available in the front office or the Hardin County Website.

Policy reads:

Any committee will be made up of a cross section of faculty and staff from varied contents and grade levels. Each committee will also include a special education teacher. At least one parent and/or community member will be invited as a member of each committee. Minority members will be sought in each committee. There will be a minimum of five members on each committee. … Each committee will meet to determine its own schedule for meeting dates and times. Each committee will report directly to the Council at a minimum of three times per year.
