• Alert: HCS will be updating its email system starting at 4 pm on Thursday, March 22. This will probably last until at least the close of business on Friday, March 23. This will also affect our Google Drive system. Students will not be able to work on Google-based assignments on Thursday evening. Mrs. Teresa Morgan is the Superintendent of Hardin County Schools. She has 27 years of experience in education. She has spent her entire career with Hardin County Schools. Her passion is that that all HCS decisions should be student-centered

Her educational career began in 1989 as a special education teacher at Vine Grove Elementary School. She was also intermediate teacher during her time there. In 1997, she accepted a primary teaching position at Woodland Elementary School. In 2000, she was hired to be Woodland Elementary School’s assistant principal. She became the principal at Woodland three years later and served in that capacity for eight years. 

She became HCS Director of Elementary Curriculum and Instruction in 2011. She had the opportunity to work with all the schools in the district in that capacity.

Mrs. Morgan is a 1989 graduate of Brescia College. She earned her Master’s of Education Degree from Western Kentucky University in 1994. She obtained her Principal Certification in 1997 and her Superintendent Certification in 2014 from WKU. 

Mrs. Morgan is married to C. H. Morgan and has three sons  – Alexander, Christopher and Nathaniel.
