• Alert: HCS will be updating its email system starting at 4 pm on Thursday, March 22. This will probably last until at least the close of business on Friday, March 23. This will also affect our Google Drive system. Students will not be able to work on Google-based assignments on Thursday evening. 2017 Distinguished Alumni Applications now being accepted

Hardin County Schools is taking applications for its 2017 Class of Distinguished Alumni.

If anyone would like to nominate an alum, go to the Hardin County Schools website, www.hardin.k12.ky.us.  The link to the nomination form is on the front page of the district’s website.

“This is an event I look forward to every year,” HCS Superintendent Teresa Morgan said.  “I encourage everyone who has a connection to Hardin County Schools to nominate an alum that has excelled in his or her chosen profession or has made outstanding contributions to his or her community.  Our alums are important to us and this is a fantastic way to honor them.”

The deadline for nominations is July 14, 2017.  Nominees must have graduated from any of the current or former high schools in Hardin County Schools no less than five years ago (2012).  The 2017 class will be honored August 24, 2017 in Nannette S. Johnston Hall at the Hardin County Schools Early College and Career Center (200 University Dr., Elizabethtown, Ky).
