Academic Intervention Plan

Level One – Student has three or more zeros that resulting in a failing grade for the student.

Teacher alerts administration to an early pattern of zeros. Administration conferences with student and lets the student know that he/she is failing the class and has more than three zeros. The student then has two weeks to get the zeros taken care of before he/she reaches level two of the program.

Level Two – Student continues to have three or more zeros resulting in a failing grade for the student.

Teacher alerts administration. Administration will then contact parents. Student is assigned Lunch detention to complete missing work. If student is failing more than one class they may also be placed in an intervention class during Power Hour on Wednesdays.

Level Three – Student continues to have 3 or more zeros resulting in a failing grade for the student.

Teacher alerts administration. A parent/teacher conference is scheduled. Lunch detention continues and other out of school options are scheduled to complete the work (Saturday School, after school detention, etc.)

Level Four – Student continues to have 3 or more zeros resulting in a failing grade for the student.

Teacher alerts administration. Current intervention options continue; Counseling options are discussed and assigned.

Alternative school options are discussed.
