If you ordered a Bulldawg Basketball sweatshirt from Ms. McCurry please go by her room today to pick them up.

The December YClub meeting is Tuesday in the library loft from 3:30-4:45pm. KUNA info will be provided.

Students who borrowed calculators from Ms. Dulce Brown for Saturday’s ACT test need to return them to her TODAY.

The Freshmen class will not be painting signs for Basketball Homecoming today but will resume on Thursday in front of Ms Miller’s room 201 until 5 pm. Please make sure your ride picks you up at 5pm.

The library’s first Kentucky Bluegrass Award prize drawing of the year will take place next week. If you are currently reading a book from the library’s KBA display, be sure to finish it and submit a book score slip by Monday.

The Freshmen class will start painting signs for Basketball Homecoming on Monday (December 11) in front of Ms Miller’s room 201. They will paint signs from 3:30 to 5pm. Please make sure your ride picks you up at 5pm.

The Sophomore Class will also be staying Friday, Monday and Tuesday until 5:00 to work on painting for Homecoming in 405. Please see Mrs. Field for more information.

Juniors interested in a summer living learning environment where you can earn college credit during the summer and prepare for college, the Commonwealth Honors Academy at Murray State University may be for you.  More information and the application can be found at www.murraystate,edu/cha Deadline to apply is March 1, 2018.

Hey DECA members--it’s time to break out your favorite Christmas hat and have some holiday food and fun at the DECA Christmas Party.  We will meet Tuesday, Dec. 19th 3:45-5:00.  All members please plan to attend!

The Freshmen Class is sponsoring Holiday Candy Grams during lunch from December 4-15. Purchase candy canes for $1.00 and Holiday Grams for $1.50. The Holiday Grams will be delivered on December 18, 19, & 20 during 5th block.

Read December 13-15 The Academic Team Practice for both Academic Team and FPS will resume after Winter Break.

Attention athletes with practice after school--Looking for a quick snack that’s cheap?  Come by John Hardin General for a snack and a Powerade for only $2.50.  We will get you in and out quick!  

Seniors!  Tomorrow is the last day to submit your Senior Quote for the yearbook.  Your senior quote should be the essence of YOU in quote form.You may pick up a Senior Quote Form from your English teacher or outside of room 225 for those who do not have English this trimester.  There is limited space in the yearbook, so get your quote TODAY!  

Attention seniors! Yearbook recognition ads are a great way for parents, families, and friends to commemorate student achievements and important milestones. Pick up a Senior Recognition Ad form outside of room 225 or 313. Deadline for submission is December 20.

What do you do for the holidays?  Do you spend it with family and friends?  The yearbook staff wants to know.  Submit your holiday photos to RePlayIt -- and a yearbook staff will get in contact with you.

Guidance Department Submissions

All seniors must create a parchment account to have their transcript sent to the colleges of your choice. If you need assistance please see Ms. Harden in the Guidance Office.

Any Seniors planning to major in business or education please see Ms. Harden in the guidance office for scholarship information.

Attention juniors who are eligible for the early college program, applications are due to EC3 by December 20th.

All Seniors that plan on attending ECTC this summer or in the fall, please come see Ms. Harden in the guidance office.

The University of Kentucky is offering an Athletic Trainer Opportunity – If you are a senior with a 2.75 GPA and interested in becoming a student athletic trainer at the University of Kentucky, there is an application available in the guidance office. Applications are due no later than February 8.
