Principal's Message

Jacinta Pleasant

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Radcliff Elementary School. My passion for education has spanned over twenty years in the classroom as an English teacher, Instructional Coach, and Yearbook Advisor.  I have had the opportunity to teach at the three high schools in the district—with one of them being my alma mater, North Hardin High School.  And, now I am the instructional leader in the building I attended as a middle schooler.  What an honor!

As the principal of Radcliff Elementary School, it is my priority that every student has an engaging and positive learning experience through a quality instruction. Each day I will strive to ensure that every student feels accepted and valued as we cultivate a school community that respects and embraces each other and our many differences.  I want every student to feel he or she has a special place at Radcliff Elementary School.  As we build relationships through Respect, Encouragement, and Self-reflection, it is vital that every student follows the Patriot expectations each day:

  • Be PROMPT to school
  • Be POLITE to everyone
  • Be PREPARED to learn
  • Be PRODUCTIVE citizens

Throughout the school year, we will celebrate student success and progress.  Not only is it important to show students that the mind and heart are important muscles that need to be fully developed and engaged, but we should reward them for their progress and achievements as well.

Again, I look forward to working with you, your child, and the fabulous teachers at Radcliff Elementary School.  As a team, we can do great things.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns, questions, or ideas that you would like to discuss.

With Patriot Pride,

Jacinta R. Pleasant
