ELIZABETH BRANDENBURG
SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

We are excited to be in our eighth year as a Preschool /Kindergarten school in August 2017! North Park is a unique place, with meeting the needs of young learners at its core. I have been honored to be the principal for those eight years. I love this school, our community and I am proud to be part of such a special place for early learners.

Our mission is to provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment in which students form the foundation for life-long learning. Our faculty and staff are committed to providing an atmosphere that is welcoming and secure as well as developmentally appropriate. Students learn through hands on exploration of concepts in small and whole group settings, as well as through movement and play. We know that giving children a strong start is the first step to a positive school experience.

We believe that our school community should work together to create an environment that is safe, caring, exciting, and rigorous for our students. We teach students to Be Safe, Be Nice, and Be Ready to Learn from their very first day and recognize them for their academic successes, as well as their efforts at learning how to be good citizens of a community.

Our students' success cannot be complete without an effective partnership with all parents. You are your child's first, best teacher and it is important that we build a strong relationship in order to best serve his or her educational needs. Your input and engagement is appreciated as work to accomplish our school goals.

We look forward to joining you on the first steps of your child's journey in education!

Please let me know if I can ever be of support to you along the way. beth.brandenburg@hardin.kyschools.us
